See what we are up to

Welcome! We hope you enjoy this site and that it gives you a taste of what we are doing On Eleuthera Island. Eleuthera is one of the many Bahamian Islands and is located 255 miles east of Miami, FL.

We are working with Bahamas Methodist Habitat here on the Island. They are known for their caring hearts and desire to help those in need. We are glad to be here working with them, As we have updates and photos about our experiences, we will post them here.

As you enjoy our photos and updates, please pray for us and the people of Eleuthera. It is our greatest hope that above all else that Christ is made known to those we work with and in our own lives.

Palm Sunday - Worship & Parade

Palm Sunday has been a busy day. We went to worship this morning at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church. Wesley Memorial is in "James Cistern" settlement. That is also where our camp is located. After worship a group hiked to the Atlantic side of the island, and others sat and read in the breezeway. About 2:30 in the afternoon we took part in the community parade. The parade consited of every church in James Cistern marching through town with each other and ending up at the center of the settlement for a combined worship time. See the video posted below. It was LOTS of fun. Enjoy the photos and the video.
